Canada’s Karen Cockburn has been on the podium at every Summer Games since trampoline made its Olympic debut in 2000.

She’s hoping to finally make it to the top step in London.

Cockburn will be one of the favourites at the Aug. 3-4 trampoline competition at the North Greenwich Arena. Cockburn won bronze at the 2000 Games in Sydney, silver in 2004 in Athens and silver again in 2008 at Beijing.

She’s healthy this time around, unlike four years ago when her training was affected by knee surgery in December 2007.

“It’s even a blur now thinking about it because there wasn’t a lot of time to get ready,” Cockburn said in a recent interview. “This time in my preparation I feel like I’m more relaxed and can really stand back and almost look at it from an outside perspective and see where I’m going and if I’m on track.

“I’m feeling good where I am right now.”
